Matariki Week by Gemma, Drew, and Cheyanne

During week 9, term 2, room 12 had a Matariki week. We learnt what Matariki meant and we read lots of myths and legends. We made bread in the morning so it would be done by lunch time. In our class we even had challenges to get points. They were challenges you did in each iwi group. The challenges were tukutuku panels, who wants to be a Maoriaire, murals and many more. The iwi who won by Friday got shouted pizza from our teacher.
